In Tuesday's league match, the visiting Stearns Minutemen basketball team scored a tight 74-70 triumph over the Lee Academy Pandas.
In their next game, the Minutemen meet the Greenville Lakers (Greenville, ME) in a non-league match, on Friday, January 12. Stearns will attempt to move on its 3-7 season record. The Lakers enter the match with a 1-8 record after their 68-30 league loss to Valley (Bingham, ME).
With the defeat, Lee Academy moves to 2-8 on the year. The Pandas travel to Schenck (East Millinocket, ME) to meet the Wolverines in a D North match on Tuesday, January 16. The Wolverines enter the match with a record of 9-0.
