South Bend Riley Wildcats (South Bend, IN) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Michigan City Wolves (Michigan City, IN), 66-64 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, South Bend Riley upgrades its record to 14-3 on the campaign. The Wildcats host New Prairie (New Carlisle, IN) to play the Cougars in a Northern Indiana bout on Friday, January 12. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 2-11. New Prairie lost 53-32 in their recent non-league bout against Concord (Elkhart, IN)
Next up, the Wolves play the Valparaiso Vikings (Valparaiso, IN) in a Duneland bout, on Friday, January 12. Michigan City will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record. The Vikings come into the bout with a 11-3 record after their 47-44 non-league win over Penn (Mishawaka, IN).
