The Tigers now possess a 19-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Rusk for a 3A Region II District 16 battle on Friday, January 12. Troup will battle a Raiders team coming off a 84-37 league loss to Tatum (Tatum, TX). The Raiders record now stands at 4-10.

The Wildcats (7-17) will now prepare for their battle against Elysian Fields (Elysian Fields, TX). The Yellowjackets come into the 3A Region II District 16 battle with a 8-6 record. In their last battle, Elysian Fields dropped by Troup (Troup, TX), 49-37, in a league battle.
