Verrado Vipers (Buckeye, AZ) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host La Joya Community Fighting Lobos (Avondale, AZ), 46-43 in a league bout.

With the win, Verrado upgrades its record to 6-4 on the season. The Vipers travel to Desert Edge (Goodyear, AZ) to clash with the Scorpions in a bout on Thursday, January 11. The Scorpions go into the bout with a record of 0-2. Desert Edge lost 77-32 in their recent league bout against Desert Vista (Phoenix, AZ)

Next up, the Fighting Lobos clash with the Millennium Tigers (Goodyear, AZ) in a bout, on Thursday, January 11. La Joya Community will attempt to upgrade on its 7-4 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 2-0 record after their 55-47 league win over Verrado (Buckeye, AZ).
