Texas High School Basketball - Gilmer can't hold off Chapel Hill

The Chapel Hill Bulldogs basketball team scored 47 points and restricted the visiting Gilmer Buckeyes to 42 in the Bulldogs league victory on Tuesday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 14-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Henderson for a 4A Region III District 17 contest on Friday, January 12. Chapel Hill will battle a Lions team coming off a 59-36 league loss to Center (Center, TX). The Lions record now stands at 16-6.
The Buckeyes (8-9) will now prepare for their contest against Spring Hill (Longview, TX). The Panthers come into the 4A Region III District 17 contest with a 12-12 record. In their last contest, Spring Hill edged Chapel Hill (Tyler, TX), 30-27, in a league contest.
