With the victory, Oxford improves its record to 7-13 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to Lewisburg (Olive Branch, MS) to confront the Patriots in a 7A Region 1 challenge on Friday, January 12. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 15-6. Lewisburg won 53-32 in their recent league challenge against Southaven (Southaven, MS)

Next up, the Jaguars confront the Horn Lake Eagles (Horn Lake, MS) in a 7A Region 1 challenge, on Friday, January 12. DeSoto Central will attempt to improve on its 5-10 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 3-11 record after their 71-55 league loss to Hernando (Hernando, MS).
