The DeSoto Central Jaguars basketball team (Southaven, MS), was nudged 32-31 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Oxford Chargers (Oxford, MS)
The Chargers now possess a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Riverdale Baptist for a non-league battle on Friday, December 1. Oxford will confront a Crusaders team coming off a 55-51 non-league win over Pallotti (Laurel, MD). The Crusaders record now stands at 3-0.
The Jaguars (2-5) will now prepare for their battle against Southaven (Southaven, MS). The Chargers come into the 7A Region 1 battle with a 2-4 record.
