The Independence Knights basketball team (Frisco, TX), was routed 50-25 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Emerson Mavericks (McKinney, TX)
The Mavericks now sport a 12-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Memorial for a 5A Region II District 10 battle on Friday, January 12. Emerson will battle a Warriors team coming off a 71-26 league win over Centennial (Frisco, TX). The Warriors record now stands at 17-10.
The Knights (0-17) will now prepare for their battle against Liberty (Frisco, TX). The Redhawks come into the 5A Region II District 10 battle with a 18-7 record. In their last battle, Liberty trounced Heritage (Frisco, TX), 49-17, in a league battle.
