The Greensboro Day School Bengals basketball team scored 64 points and restricted the host Forsyth Country Day Furies to 51 in the Bengals league victory on Tuesday.
The Bengals now sport a 20-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Winston-Salem Christian for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 13. Greensboro Day School will battle a Lions team coming off a 77-18 league win over Word of God Christian Academy (Raleigh, NC). The Lions record now stands at 8-6.
The Furies (8-7) will now prepare for their contest against Caldwell Academy (Greensboro, NC). The come into the NCISAA Piedmont contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, Caldwell Academy prevailed over Calvary Day School (Winston-Salem, NC), 37-25, in a non-league contest.
