The Leyden Eagles basketball team (Franklin Park, IL), was overwhelmed 52-28 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Hinsdale South Hornets (Darien, IL)
The Hornets now possess a 17-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Quincy Notre Dame for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 13.
The Eagles (8-9) will now prepare for their battle against Downers Grove South (Downers Grove, IL). The Mustangs come into the West Suburban - Gold battle with a 9-10 record.
