Hinsdale South Hornets (Darien, IL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Leyden Eagles (Franklin Park, IL), 58-30 in a league bout.

With the win, Hinsdale South upgrades its record to 8-3 on the season. The Hornets host Glenbard South (Glen Ellyn, IL) to clash with the Raiders in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 13. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 6-3. Glenbard South won 53-9 in their recent league bout against Aurora East (Aurora, IL)

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Berwyn/Cicero Morton Mustangs (Cicero, IL) in a West Suburban - Gold bout, on Friday, December 15. Leyden will attempt to upgrade on its 6-3 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 3-4 record after their 64-17 league loss to Downers Grove South (Downers Grove, IL).
