New Mexico High School Basketball - Hope Christian knocked off by La Cueva

The La Cueva Bears basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Hope Christian Huskies to 38 in the Bears non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Bears now sport a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Eldorado for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 10. La Cueva will battle a Golden Eagles team coming off a 58-28 non-league win over Valley (Albuquerque, NM). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 8-2.

The Huskies (4-7) will now prepare for their contest against Valley (Albuquerque, NM). The Vikings enter the non-league contest with a 3-7 record. In their last contest, Valley was defeated by Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM), 58-28, in a non-league contest.
