The Johnston Panthers (Johnston, RI) basketball crushed the visiting Hope Blue Wave (Providence, RI), 62-28 in Tuesday's league test.

The Panthers (7-4) will now prepare for their test against Central (Providence, RI). The Knights go into the Division 4 test with a 1-6 record. In their last test, Central walloped Block Island (New Shoreham, RI), 27-25, in a league test.

The Blue Wave now own a 4-4 record. They play next when they host Times Squared Academy for a Division 4 test on Thursday, January 11. Hope will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 43-38 league loss to Blackstone Valley Prep (Cumberland, RI). The Eagles record now stands at 1-4.
