Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Nativity BVM ripped by Marian Catholic

January 9, 2024: Pottsville, PA 17901

The Marian Catholic basketball team scored 65 points and held the host Nativity BVM Green Wave to 18 in the league triumph on Tuesday.

The now sport a 11-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Minersville for a Schuylkill County 2 contest on Friday, January 12. Marian Catholic will meet a Battlin' Miners team coming off a 66-24 league win over Tri-Valley (Hegins, PA). The Battlin' Miners record now stands at 6-1.

The Green Wave (2-7) will now prepare for their contest against Williams Valley (Tower City, PA). The Vikings enter the non-league contest with a 6-5 record. In their last contest, Williams Valley was routed by Schuylkill Haven (Schuylkill Haven, PA), 41-22, in a league contest.
