The Northwest Whitfield Bruins (Tunnel Hill, GA) basketball crushed the host Southeast Whitfield County Raiders (Dalton, GA), 44-11 in Tuesday's league test.
The Bruins (9-4) will now prepare for their test against Heritage (Ringgold, GA). The Generals go into the AAAA Region 7 test with a 12-4 record. In their last test, Heritage walloped Cedartown (Cedartown, GA), 64-29, in a league test.
The Raiders now own a 5-10 record. They play next when they travel to Central for a AAAA Region 7 test on Friday, January 12. Southeast Whitfield County will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 57-34 league loss to Sonoraville (Calhoun, GA). The Lions record now stands at 7-6.
