St. Pius X Sartans (Albuquerque, NM) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Albuquerque Academy Chargers (Albuquerque, NM), 40-38 in a non-league bout.

With the win, St. Pius X upgrades its record to 4-3 on the season. The Sartans travel to Hope Christian (Albuquerque, NM) to play the Huskies in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 11. The Huskies go into the bout with a record of 3-4. Hope Christian lost 65-43 in their recent non-league bout against Cleveland (Rio Rancho, NM)

Next up, the Chargers play the Capital Jaguars (Santa Fe, NM) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 11. Albuquerque Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record.
