New Mexico High School Basketball - Albuquerque Academy can't hold off St. Pius X

The St. Pius X Sartans basketball team scored 54 points and held the host Albuquerque Academy Chargers to 48 in the Sartans non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Sartans now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Los Alamos for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 12. St. Pius X will battle a Hilltoppers team coming off a 53-44 non-league loss to St. Michael's (Santa Fe, NM). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 0-1.

The Chargers (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Moriarty (Moriarty, NM). The Pintos enter the non-league contest with a 4-1 record.
