The Blue Devils (3-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Patton (Morganton, NC). The Panthers come into the 1A/2A Mountain Foothills 7 challenge with a 5-9 record. In their last challenge, Patton was knocked off by R-S Central (Rutherfordton, NC), 56-52, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Trojans encounter the Polk County Wolverines (Columbus, NC) in a 1A/2A Mountain Foothills 7 challenge, on Tuesday, January 14. Chase will attempt to improve on its 1-13 season record. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a 2-10 record after their 69-44 league loss to R-S Central (Rutherfordton, NC).
