The Lawrence County Cougars basketball team scored 64 points and limited the host Forrest County Agricultural Aggies to 45 in the Cougars league triumph on Thursday.
The Cougars now have a 13-5 record. They play next when they host Columbia for a 4A Region 7 game on Tuesday, January 14.
With the loss, Forrest County Agricultural falls to 12-5 on the campaign. The Aggies travel to Purvis (Purvis, MS) to confront the Tornadoes in a 4A Region 7 game on Tuesday, January 14. The Tornadoes go into the game with a record of 6-7.
