Forrest County Agricultural Aggies (Brooklyn, MS) supporters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Lawrence County Cougars (Monticello, MS), 47-39 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Forrest County Agricultural advances its record to 18-7 on the year.

The Cougars now own a 18-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sumrall for a non-league match on Friday, February 7. Lawrence County will face a Bobcats squad coming off a 76-59 non-league win over Purvis (Purvis, MS). The Bobcats record now stands at 10-20.
