The Midland Valley Mustangs (Graniteville, SC) basketball crushed the visiting Gilbert Indians (Gilbert, SC), 79-47 in Thursday's league game.
The Mustangs now have a 12-4 record. They play next when they host Aiken for a AAAA Region 4 game on Tuesday, January 14. Midland Valley will confront a Fighting Green Hornets team coming off a 51-49 league loss to Brookland-Cayce (Cayce, SC). The Fighting Green Hornets record now stands at 7-8.
With the loss, Gilbert falls to 1-14 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Brookland-Cayce (Cayce, SC) to confront the Bearcats in a AAAA Region 4 game on Tuesday, January 14.
