The Stallions now possess a 11-10 record. They play next when they travel to Fayette County for a non-league bout on Monday, January 13. South Lamar will play a Tigers team coming off a 73-71 non-league win over Winfield (Winfield, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 10-5.

With the loss, Lamar County falls to 2-18 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Haleyville (Haleyville, AL) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 11. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 9-7. Haleyville lost 72-66 in their recent league bout against Hamilton (Hamilton, AL)
