The Mattanawcook Lynx (Lincoln, ME) basketball were winner over the visiting Calais Blue Devils (Calais, ME), 56-36 in Thursday's league bout.
The Lynx now possess a 8-1 record. They play next when they travel to Orono for a C North bout on Saturday, January 11. Mattanawcook will play a Riots team coming off a 68-44 league loss to Central (East Corinth, ME). The Riots record now stands at 1-8.
With the loss, Calais falls to 7-3 on the campaign. The Blue devils travel to Penobscot Valley (Howland, ME) to play the Howlers in a C North bout on Saturday, January 11. The Howlers go into the bout with a record of 9-0.
