The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Mattanawcook Lynx (Lincoln, ME) and the host Calais Blue Devils (Calais, ME), observed Mattanawcook's basketball team knock off Calais by a score of 46-34.

The Lynx (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Central (East Corinth, ME). The Red Devils come into the C North challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Central prevailed over George Stevens Academy (Blue Hill, ME), 47-38, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Blue Devils encounter the Narraguagus Knights (Harrington, ME) in a C North challenge, on Thursday, December 12. Calais will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
