In Thursday's league contest, the visiting Hazen Wildcats basketball team scored a big 85-12 triumph over the Stowe Raiders.
The Wildcats (5-0) will now prepare for their contest against Richford (Richford, VT). The Falcons go into the Mountain contest with a 4-4 record. In their last contest, Richford smashed Enosburg Falls (Enosburg Falls, VT), 34-22, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Raiders confront the Montpelier Solons (Montpelier, VT) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 11. Stowe will attempt to better on its 0-6 season record. The Solons go into the contest with a 1-6 record after their 35-18 league loss to Thetford Academy (Thetford, VT).
