The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the Hazen Wildcats (Hardwick, VT) and the visiting Stowe Raiders (Stowe, VT), observed Hazen's basketball team overwhelm Stowe by a score of 72-6.

The Wildcats (16-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Northfield (Northfield, VT). The Marauders come into the Mountain challenge with a 1-14 record. In their last challenge, Northfield was routed by Bellows Free Academy (Fairfax, VT), 44-27, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Raiders encounter the Blue Mountain Bucks (Wells River, VT) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 17. Stowe will attempt to improve on its 0-17 season record. The Bucks come into the challenge with a 2-12 record after their 39-23 league loss to Twinfield (Plainfield, VT).
