Mississippi High School Basketball - Pontotoc overwhelms Lafayette

The Pontotoc Warriors basketball team scored 61 points and limited the host Lafayette Commodores to 24 in the Warriors league triumph on Thursday.
The Warriors now possess a 13-3 record. They play next when they travel to West Point for a 5A Region 1 game on Tuesday, January 14.
With the loss, Lafayette falls to 9-8 on the campaign. The Commodores travel to Clarksdale (Clarksdale, MS) to play the Wildcats in a 5A Region 1 game on Tuesday, January 14. The Wildcats go into the game with a record of 6-10. Clarksdale won 34-31 in their recent league game against West Point (West Point, MS)
