Nevada High School Basketball - Mineral County routs Sierra Sage Academy/Right Of Passage

In Thursday's league contest, the visiting Mineral County Serpents basketball team scored a big 49-5 triumph over the Sierra Sage Academy/Right Of Passage Rams.

The Serpents (3-8) will now prepare for their contest against Virginia City (Virginia City, NV). The Muckers go into the 1A West contest with a 10-5 record. In their last contest, Virginia City smashed Sage Ridge (Reno, NV), 58-34, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Rams battle the Pyramid Lake Lakers (Nixon, NV) in a 1A West contest, on Saturday, January 11. Sierra Sage Academy/Right Of Passage will attempt to better on its 0-8 season record. The Lakers go into the contest with a 11-5 record after their 70-11 league win over Mineral County (Hawthorne, NV).
