West Virginia High School Volleyball - Nicholas County Independence

October 1, 2022: Coal City, WV 25823

In Saturday's league battle, the host Independence Patriots volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Nicholas County Grizzlies.

The Patriots (8-18) will now prepare for their battle against Wyoming East (New Richmond, WV). The Warriors come into the non-league battle with a 8-8 record. In their last battle, Wyoming East achieved victory over Independence (Coal City, WV), 2-1, in a league battle.

Next, the Grizzlies clash with the WestSide Renegades (Clear Fork, WV) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, October 1. Nicholas County will attempt to advance on its 11-15 season record. The Renegades come into the battle with a 1-9 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Bluefield (Bluefield, WV).
