West Virginia High School Volleyball - Nicholas County Independence

October 20, 2022: Summersville, WV 26651

The Nicholas County Grizzlies volleyball team (Summersville, WV), was dropped 2-0 in Thursday's league challenge with the visiting Independence Patriots (Coal City, WV)

The Patriots (13-26) will now prepare for their challenge against Shady Spring (Shady Spring, WV). The Tigers enter the Mountain State challenge with a 40-3 record. In their last challenge, Shady Spring defeated Greenbrier East (Lewisburg, WV), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Grizzlies meet the Liberty Raiders (Glen Daniel, WV) in a Coalfield AA challenge, on Tuesday, October 25. Nicholas County will attempt to move on its 17-19 season record. The Raiders enter the challenge with a 18-15 record after their 2-0 league win over WestSide (Clear Fork, WV).
