Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Lake Norman Charter Knights (Huntersville, NC) and the host Carson Cougars (China Grove, NC), observed Lake Norman Charter's volleyball team top Carson by a count of 2-0.

The Knights (11-1) will now prepare for their bout against East Rowan (Salisbury, NC). The Mustangs come into the non-league bout with a 8-7 record. In their last bout, East Rowan was topped by South Rowan (China Grove, NC), 3-2, in a non-league bout.

With the loss, Carson drops to 12-2 on the campaign. The Cougars host Concord (Concord, NC) to clash with the Spiders in a non-league bout on Wednesday, October 2. The Spiders come into the bout with a record of 6-9.
