The Cougars now possess a 9-1 record. They play next when they host Central Cabarrus for a non-league bout on Monday, September 16. Carson will clash with a Vikings team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Northwest Cabarrus (Concord, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 7-5.

With the loss, Lake Norman Charter drops to 8-1 on the campaign. The Knights host West Rowan (Mt. Ulla, NC) to clash with the Falcons in a non-league bout on Monday, September 16.
