Academy for Classical Education Gryphons (Macon, GA) backers left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Dublin Fighting Irish (Dublin, GA), 9-1 in a league game.

With the triumph, Academy for Classical Education upgrades its record to 19-5 on the year. The Gryphons travel to Southwest (Macon, GA) to play the Patriots in a 1A D-I Region 2 game on Thursday, October 3. The Patriots enter the game with a record of 0-16. Southwest lost 7-0 in their recent league bout against East Laurens (East Dublin, GA)

In their next game, the Fighting Irish clash with the Northeast Raiders (Macon, GA) in a 1A D-I Region 2 bout, on Wednesday, October 2. Dublin will attempt to advance on its 9-9 season record. The Raiders go into the bout with a 5-12 record after their 12-0 league loss to Bleckley County (Cochran, GA).
