The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Holden Eagles (Holden, MO) and the visiting Sherwood Marksmen (Creighton, MO), observed Holden's softball team notch a victory over Sherwood by a tally of 15-0.

The Eagles (13-10) will now prepare for their bout against Lexington (Lexington, MO). The Minutemen go into the non-league bout with a 5-13 record. In their last bout, Lexington gained a win over Braymer (Braymer, MO), 10-8, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Marksmen battle the Harrisonville Wildcats (Harrisonville, MO) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, October 3. Sherwood will attempt to advance on its 5-11 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 3-11 record after their 13-0 league loss to Oak Grove (Oak Grove, MO).
