Georgia High School Softball - Sandy Creek succumbs to Mary Persons

In Tuesday's league test, the Mary Persons Bulldogs (Forsyth, GA) softball squad overwhelmed the host Sandy Creek Patriots (Tyrone, GA), by a tally of 15-2.

Next, the Bulldogs meet the Whitewater Wildcats (Fayetteville, GA) in a 3A Region 2 test, on Thursday, October 3. Mary Persons will attempt to advance on its 13-8 season record. The Wildcats go into the test with a 15-9 record after their 13-0 league win over Upson-Lee (Thomaston, GA).

The Patriots (6-12) will now prepare for their test against Troup County (LaGrange, GA). The Tigers go into the 3A Region 2 test with a 9-11 record. In their last test, Troup County prevailed over Spalding (Griffin, GA), 12-0, in a league test.
