In Tuesday's league test, the Temple Tigers (Temple, GA) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Model Blue Devils (Rome, GA), by a tally of 6-1.

Next, the Tigers clash with the Heard County Braves (Franklin, GA) in a 1A D-I Region 6 test, on Thursday, October 3. Temple will attempt to advance on its 16-7 season record. The Braves go into the test with a 14-10 record after their 4-3 non-league loss to Carrollton (Carrollton, GA).

The Blue Devils (5-11) will now prepare for their test against Gordon Central (Calhoun, GA). The Warriors go into the 1A D-I Region 7 test with a 2-14 record. In their last test, Gordon Central was routed by Armuchee (Rome, GA), 26-5, in a league test.
