In Thursday's league match, the visiting Temple Tigers softball team scored a nice 10-2 victory over the Model Blue Devils.

The Tigers (10-2) will now prepare for their match against Bowdon (Bowdon, GA). The Red Devils go into the non-league match with a 8-4 record. In their last match, Bowdon gained a win over Callaway (Hogansville, GA), 14-5, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Blue Devils battle the Bremen Blue Devils (Bremen, GA) in a 1A D-I Region 6 match, on Tuesday, September 10. Model will attempt to better on its 3-7 season record. The Blue Devils go into the match with a 9-5 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Northside (Columbus, GA).
