Mount Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, NC) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Albemarle Bulldogs (Albemarle, NC), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Mount Pleasant improves its record to 7-9 on the season. The Tigers travel to North Stanly (New London, NC) to face the Comets in a Yadkin Valley 1A/2A test on Thursday, October 3. The Comets go into the test with a record of 14-6. North Stanly won 3-0 in their recent league test against South Stanly (Norwood, NC)

The Bulldogs now own a 5-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gray Stone Day for a Yadkin Valley 1A/2A test on Thursday, October 3. Albemarle will face a Knights squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Union Academy (Monroe, NC). The Knights record now stands at 11-7.
