The Mount Pleasant Tigers topped the host Albemarle Bulldogs volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Tuesday's league game.

Next up, the Tigers face the North Stanly Comets (New London, NC) in a Yadkin Valley 1A/2A game, on Wednesday, September 11. Mount Pleasant will attempt to advance on its 6-5 season record. The Comets go into the game with a 8-6 record after their 3-0 league win over South Stanly (Norwood, NC).

The Bulldogs (5-5) will now prepare for their game against Gray Stone Day (Misenheimer, NC). The Knights go into the Yadkin Valley 1A/2A game with a 5-6 record. In their last game, Gray Stone Day went down by Union Academy (Monroe, NC), 3-0, in a league game.
