Texas High School Volleyball - Berkner over Irving

Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Berkner Rams (Richardson, TX) and the host Irving Tigers (Irving, TX), observed Berkner's volleyball team top Irving by a count of 3-1.

The Rams (13-16) will now prepare for their contest against Nimitz (Irving, TX). The Vikings enter the 6A Region I District 7 contest with a 13-14 record. In their last contest, Nimitz was knocked off by Lake Highlands (Dallas, TX), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Tigers battle the Richardson Eagles (Richardson, TX) in a 6A Region I District 7 contest, on Friday, October 4. Irving will attempt to move on its 12-12 season record. The Eagles enter the contest with a 11-16 record after their 3-0 non-league win over South Garland (Garland, TX).
