Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Buffalo Grove Bison (Buffalo Grove, IL) and the visiting Elk Grove Grenadiers (Elk Grove Village, IL), observed Buffalo Grove's volleyball team top Elk Grove by a count of 2-0.

The Bison (12-9) will now prepare for their contest against Glenbrook North (Northbrook, IL). The Spartans enter the non-league contest with a 15-6 record. In their last bout, Glenbrook North fell by New Trier (Winnetka, IL), 2-0, in a league bout.

With the loss, Elk Grove drops to 9-11 on the campaign. The Grenadiers travel to Leyden (Franklin Park, IL) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league bout on Wednesday, October 2. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 6-9. Leyden won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Fenton (Bensenville, IL)
