Texas High School Volleyball - Carthage over Gilmer

Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Carthage Bulldogs (Carthage, TX) and the host Gilmer Buckeyes (Gilmer, TX), observed Carthage's volleyball team top Gilmer by a tally of 3-0.

The Bulldogs (21-12) will now prepare for their contest against Cumberland Academy (Tyler, TX). The Knights enter the 4A Region II District 16 contest with a 12-12 record. In their last contest, Cumberland Academy was beaten by Henderson (Henderson, TX), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Buckeyes meet the Chapel Hill Bulldogs (Tyler, TX) in a 4A Region II District 16 contest, on Friday, October 4. Gilmer will attempt to upgrade on its 15-14 season record. The Bulldogs enter the contest with a 7-21 record after their 3-0 league loss to Kilgore (Kilgore, TX).
