The Eastside Spartans (Coeburn, VA) volleyball knocked off the visiting Castlewood Blue Devils (Castlewood, VA), 3-1 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Spartans now possess a 4-9 record. They play next when they travel to Twin Springs for a Cumberland bout on Thursday, October 3. Eastside will clash with a Titans team coming off a 3-0 league loss to J.I. Burton (Norton, VA). The Titans record now stands at 4-6.

With the loss, Castlewood drops to 4-3 on the campaign. The Blue devils travel to Thomas Walker (Ewing, VA) to clash with the Pioneers in a Cumberland bout on Thursday, October 3. The Pioneers come into the bout with a record of 6-3.
