The Eastside Spartans (Coeburn, VA) volleyball knocked off the host Castlewood Blue Devils (Castlewood, VA), 3-0 in Thursday's league bout.
The Spartans now possess a 8-11 record. They play next when they host Twin Springs for a Cumberland bout on Tuesday, October 22. Eastside will clash with a Titans team coming off a 3-0 league loss to J.I. Burton (Norton, VA). The Titans record now stands at 7-10.
With the loss, Castlewood drops to 6-8 on the campaign. The Blue devils host Thomas Walker (Ewing, VA) to clash with the Pioneers in a Cumberland bout on Tuesday, October 22. The Pioneers come into the bout with a record of 7-7.
