Hickory Grove Christian Lions (Charlotte, NC) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Gaston Christian Eagles (Gastonia, NC), 3-1 in a league test.

With the win, Hickory Grove Christian improves its record to 7-7 on the season. The Lions travel to Concord Academy (Concord, NC) to encounter the Eagles in a NCISAA Metrolina Athletic test on Thursday, October 3. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 5-9. Concord Academy won 3-2 in their recent league test against SouthLake Christian Academy (Huntersville, NC)

The Eagles now own a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gaston Day for a NCISAA Metrolina Athletic test on Thursday, October 3. Gaston Christian will encounter a Spartans squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Concord Academy (Concord, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 10-7.
