North Carolina High School Volleyball - Gaston Christian can't hold off Hickory Grove Christian

August 29, 2024: Charlotte, NC 28215

In Thursday's league match, the Hickory Grove Christian Lions (Charlotte, NC) volleyball squad tipped the visiting Gaston Christian Eagles (Gastonia, NC), by a count of 3-2.

Next up, the Lions play the SouthLake Christian Academy Eagles (Huntersville, NC) in a NCISAA Metrolina Athletic outing, on Tuesday, September 3. Hickory Grove Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Eagles come into the outing with a 2-4 record after their 3-1 league win over Concord Academy (Concord, NC).

With the loss, Gaston Christian drops to 4-4 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Metrolina Christian Academy (Indian Trail, NC) to play the Warriors in a NCISAA Metrolina Athletic outing on Tuesday, September 3. The Warriors come into the outing with a record of 2-4. Metrolina Christian Academy lost 3-1 in their recent league outing against Westminster Catawba Christian (Rock Hill, SC)
