In Tuesday's league match, the Katy Taylor Mustangs (Katy, TX) volleyball squad prevailed the visiting Mayde Creek Rams (Houston, TX), by a count of 3-0.

Next up, the Mustangs battle the Morton Ranch Mavericks (Katy, TX) in a 6A Region III District 19 match, on Friday, October 4. Katy Taylor will attempt to move on its 22-10 season record. The Mavericks enter the match with a 9-24 record after their 3-0 league loss to Katy (Katy, TX).
