In Tuesday's non-league match, the Newton County Cougars (Decatur, MS) volleyball squad overcame the host St. Andrew's Episcopal Saints (Ridgeland, MS), by a count of 2-0.

Next up, the Cougars battle the Union Yellowjackets (Union, MS) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, October 1. Newton County will attempt to move on its 29-4 season record. The Yellowjackets enter the match with a 29-7 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Pearl (Pearl, MS).
