In their next game, the Mustangs face the Torrey Pines Falcons (San Diego, CA) in a Avocado game, on Monday, October 6. San Dieguito Academy will attempt to improve on its 10-6 season record. The Falcons enter the game with a 14-9 record after their 31-26 league loss to San Marcos (San Marcos, CA).

The Pirates (2-8) will now prepare for their game against Carlsbad (Carlsbad, CA). The Lancers come into the non-league outing with a 15-4 record. In their last outing, Carlsbad notched a victory over Poway (Poway, CA), 13-6, in a league game.
