Georgia High School Softball - Baconton Charter bounces Pelham

In Wednesday's non-league game, the host Baconton Charter Blazers softball squad scored a close 11-4 triumph over the Pelham Hornets.

With the triumph, Baconton Charter improves its record to 10-7 on the year. The Blazers travel to Early County (Blakely, GA) to play the Bobcats in a 1A D-II Region 1 game on Thursday, October 2. The Bobcats enter the game with a record of 2-8. Early County lost 10-2 in their recent league game against Pelham (Pelham, GA)

The Hornets now hold a 13-6 record. They play next when they host Brooks County for a non-league game on Tuesday, October 7. Pelham will battle a Trojans team coming off a 15-3 league win over Turner County (Ashburn, GA). The Trojans record now stands at 3-16.
